We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Business Development Associate to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves identifying and engaging with companies within the solar industry, prospecting and establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and using strong communication skills and business acumen to drive business development.
Key responsibilities include identifying and building relationships with customers, initiating contact with site owners and decision-makers, and cultivating strong client relationships. You will maintain a CRM database of potential projects, create sales documentation, and communicate the value of our services through cold calling, email campaigns, and virtual meetings. Additionally, you will finalize contracts, ensure alignment on pricing and services, and develop an understanding of customer needs to facilitate the resale, repurpose, or recycling of their solar panels.
The ideal candidate will have 0-3+ years of sales experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and exposure to cold outreach and CRM platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a track record of achieving ambitious goals are essential. Willingness to travel for industry events is also required.
