Project Manager - Building Restoration
The company has been dedicated to building strong, long-lasting relationships for more than 30 years. The team, which has five offices in Ontario, is made up of motivated professionals at different stages of their careers, collaborating and working together on challenging and significant projects every day.
They are seeking a Project Manager to join their restoration team. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and play and important role in developing client relationships. You will also be expected to mentor and train junior engineers.
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct inquiries and draft technical reports regarding parking garages, roofing, building envelopes, leaks, and evaluations of building conditions
- Establish specifications and oversee the bidding process
- Accelerate projects from the beginning to the end of the planning, specification, and building phases
- Assure prompt and accurate billing, keep an eye on receivables, and oversee the project's finances
- Continuously look for ways to improve client satisfaction and create enduring client relationships through project management
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience working as a building science and restoration engineering consultant
- A minimum of two years of project management experience at a building science consulting firm
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering with a focus in structural restoration or building science.
- P.Eng designation or P.Eng. pending is an asset, but not a requirement
