We are currently seeking a mid-senior level Building Enclosure Consultant (BEC) to join our walls department. Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager oversees sales and project management for this growing company. This role manages Quality Compliance Observers, Project Managers, and Project Assistants assigned to their projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical project execution, including investigation, troubleshooting, and detailing of building envelope systems.
- Oversee fieldwork and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as the subject-matter expert.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and review work by others.
- Manage project scoping, team assembly, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Enhance the firm's profile through participation in professional organizations, conferences, and technical committees.
- Communicate and maintain relationships with clients professionally and timely.
- Coordinate QCO field staff, proof and forward daily reports, and handle field questions and site visits while monitoring budgets.
- Prepare specification documents and details for roofing projects, conduct pre-bid, pre-construction, and progress meetings.
- Perform or assist with visual surveys, infrared moisture surveys, pre-specification involvement, and asbestos sampling.
- Meet with clients to develop proposals and project estimates for roof consulting services.
- Track and schedule maintenance on company-owned vehicles if assigned.
- Perform test openings and repairs to existing roofs.
- Utilize computers and required project software programs (Emails, Microsoft Suite, Photos Upload, GoCanvas, QuickBooks Time, etc.).
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Building Envelope systems or related fields such as Roofing, Curtainwall, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Science preferred.
- IIBEC Credentials preferred.
- Familiarity with various materials including air barriers, insulation, sealants and coatings, glazing systems, fenestrations, curtain walls, facades, cladding assemblies, low-slope roofing, steep-slope roofing, below-grade waterproofing, plaza/terrace waterproofing, traffic coatings, green roofs, building science, and more.

Work Setting:
This role is based in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Some tasks will be performed in the field.
Physical Requirements:
The job requires regular communication and auditory skills. Frequent standing, walking, manual dexterity, and reaching are necessary. Occasionally, the role involves handling and climbing ladders for roofing project access.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required based on job demands.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is generally local during business hours, with occasional overnight trips for out-of-area assignments.
