Job Description: They are seeking an energetic and talented Structural Engineer with expertise in Building Envelope Consulting to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with in-house engineers and architects while working on a variety of projects. It also provides a path for professional growth, team leadership, and project leadership within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform building envelope design, including construction documents and specifications, estimating, and scheduling assignments.
- Lead the design and analysis of building enclosure systems, ensuring high performance and durability.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for building envelope projects.
- Conduct assessments, inspections, and evaluations of existing building enclosures to identify and address issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, representing them in the market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our presence in the building enclosure sector.
- Manage schedules, work products, and ensure compliance with customer's intent.
- Review construction documentation for material submittals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- PE Licensed.
- RRC/RRO would be a plus.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in structural engineering or building envelope systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required.
