Now seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Building Envelope Consultant to join our market leading engineering team. As a Senior Building Envelope Consultant, you will be responsible for investigating and analyzing building envelope failures and damages. Your role will involve providing expert opinions and testimony in legal proceedings, as well as providing consulting services to clients in the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities
- Designing waterproofing systems for new constructions and performing forensic evaluations specifying the repair and replacement of existing systems
- Lead technical expertise and project management services related to building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, wall systems, and fenestration systems.
- Conduct building envelope condition assessments, forensic investigations, and failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems and develop appropriate remediation strategies.
- Providing consulting on the areas of restorations and preservation
- Managing construction projects and implementing design solutions
- High volume of projects per year leading to a large range project opportunities (Roofing, foundations, balconies, parking structures, facades and curtain-walls
- Litigation support chances
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope consulting or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, wall systems, and fenestration systems.
- Experience with building envelope condition assessments, forensic investigations, and failure analysis.
- Experience with building envelope testing programs.
- Experience with building envelope system design, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Professional licensure (PE, RA, or RRO) preferred.
- Experience with expert witness testimony preferred.
