A distinguished and highly regarded consulting firm is seeking a Building Enclosure Consultant to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in building envelope systems, forensic investigation, and performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in building enclosure consulting, including design assessments, forensic investigations, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners to ensure the integrity and durability of building envelope systems.
- Conduct field investigations, condition assessments, and oversee construction administration for enclosure-related projects.
- Develop reports, technical documentation, and recommendations for remediation and performance improvements.
- Stay informed on industry standards, materials, and advancements in building science.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in architecture, structural engineering, or building science.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in building enclosure consulting, facade engineering, or building envelope design.
- Comprehensive knowledge of enclosure systems, including waterproofing, roofing, cladding, and air barriers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
