We are currently working with a dynamic multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in their search for a skilled Lead Bridge Engineer to join the team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within a reputable consultancy, contributing your expertise to a variety of challenging projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the design and delivery of bridge engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to project timelines.
- Providing expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth within the team.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate bridge design with other project components effectively.
- Conducting thorough inspections, assessments, and evaluations of existing bridges, recommending necessary repairs or upgrades.
An ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience (ideally 10+ years) in bridge / transport structures engineering, with a focus on design and team leadership.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in structural engineering or similar field.
- Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and engage with clients effectively.
