LVI Associates is collaborating with a national firm in the civil engineering sector, seeking a skilled Bridge Group Lead to spearhead and manage their bridge engineering division. Our client is committed to delivering innovative solutions in infrastructure development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of bridge engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight on bridge engineering projects.
- Oversee the design, analysis, and inspection of bridge structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, optimizing project delivery and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and clients to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for bridge engineering challenges.
- Foster a culture of excellence, professional growth, and collaboration within the bridge engineering group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with a specialization in bridge engineering.
- Extensive experience in bridge engineering, structural design, and project management.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and bridge design tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
