Branch Manager Role
The Branch Manager develops new client and business opportunities while maintaining and enhancing existing relationships. They provide technical guidance on project organization, budgeting, scheduling, and legal considerations, and oversee branch and project staffing, motivating team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent the company positively at client negotiations, conferences, and technical meetings.

- Engage with clients in business development, proposals, and technical matters.
- Provide guidance and training to subordinates.
- Plan branch strategy with Group Managers to meet goals.
- Manage branch costs, budgets, and project profitability.
- Review and counsel project teams; evaluate performance.

- Supervise staff development programs.
- Motivate subordinates and develop Project Management candidates.
- Prepare and review performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in consulting engineering, with at least five in project management and supervisory roles.
- Professional Engineering License required or obtainable within six months.
- Knowledge in geotechnical engineering or environmental services consulting.
- Active in professional and civic organizations.
- Strong planning, organizing, and delegating skills.
- Experience in staffing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in scheduling and cost control.
- Ability to motivate and train staff.
