We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Revit Specialist to join our team. As a Revit Specialist, you will play a key role in the design and modeling of structural elements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project delivery.
Job Overview: The Revit Specialist will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining 3D Revit models for structural engineering projects. This role requires advanced knowledge of Revit software, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to support project teams in producing high-quality deliverables. You will work closely with structural engineers and other team members to ensure that models are precise, up-to-date, and aligned with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for structural design and analysis.
Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure accuracy of design intent and model coordination.
Produce structural drawings, schematics, and reports from Revit models.
Assist in the creation and management of project templates, families, and parametric content.
Review and ensure that models comply with project requirements, standards, and codes.
Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues with other disciplines (architectural, MEP, etc.).
Provide ongoing support and training to internal team members on Revit tools, processes, and best practices.
Assist in the preparation of construction documentation, including plans, elevations, and sections.
Ensure that project models and drawings are kept up-to-date with any design changes or revisions.
Participate in design reviews and offer feedback on model-based workflows to improve productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience (3+ years) working with Revit in a structural engineering or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of Revit's modeling tools, detailing tools, and BIM workflows.
Experience with structural engineering design and understanding of engineering principles (steel, concrete, etc.).
Proficient in other design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam (preferred).
Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in Revit (such as Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
