Job Summary:
The Building Automation Service Manager oversees the installation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Automation Systems (BAS), including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems. They manage a team of technicians, ensure client satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement in system performance and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise BAS technicians, ensuring efficient operations and task completion.
- Client Relations: Serve as the main contact for clients, managing service contracts and addressing concerns.
- Service Operations: Oversee scheduling, preventive maintenance, and system repairs while tracking service performance.
- Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting expertise and stay updated on BAS technology and standards.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure safety, compliance, and optimal system functionality through audits and best practices.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, resources, and department performance reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify system upgrades and energy-saving solutions while collaborating with sales.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in BAS, HVAC, or related fields; 2+ years in management.
- Proficiency in BAS platforms like Honeywell, Siemens, or Johnson Controls etc.
- Strong leadership, technical, and customer service skills.
