Job Description: As a BAS Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful implementation of building automation projects in the Dallas area. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to execution, commissioning, and closeout. Your primary goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage building automation projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee the commissioning and startup of building automation systems.
- Provide technical support and assistance to project team members as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing building automation projects.
- Strong technical background in building automation systems and controls.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- PMP certification preferred.
