Key Responsibilities:
Set up, configure, and operate AV equipment for live events, meetings, and conferences.
Install and maintain audiovisual systems, including projectors, microphones, soundboards, and lighting equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV hardware and software.
Collaborate with event coordinators, IT teams, and clients to determine AV requirements.
Ensure optimal sound and visual quality for presentations, performances, and broadcasts.
Maintain and inventory AV equipment, ensuring proper storage and upkeep.
Provide technical support and training to users on AV systems and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging AV technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a similar role.
Knowledge of audiovisual equipment, including mixers, amplifiers, microphones, projectors, and video conferencing systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting AV issues and performing routine maintenance.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Certification in AV technology (CTS, Dante, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AV automation systems and digital signal processing.
Familiarity with live streaming platforms and software.
Basic knowledge of networking and IT-related AV integration.
