Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: U.S. (with travel across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico)

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to handle field commissioning, training, and support of control systems and equipment.
Position Overview:
The Field Service Engineerwill perform system start-up, troubleshooting, and customer training for advanced equipment and control systems. The role involves significant travel to customer sites, with a mix of technical support, commissioning, and maintenance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Support & Start-Up:
- Conduct equipment FATs, commissioning, and customer training.
- Provide validation support, warranty services, and troubleshooting for automation systems.
- Deliver preventive maintenance reviews and remote/phone support for controls systems.
Technical Expertise:
- Troubleshoot, program, test, and commission PLCs (Allen-Bradley).
- Review and interpret control system documentation, including P&IDs, schematics, and interconnect diagrams.
- Maintain and update system drawings and provide technical recommendations to customers.
Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, including NFPA, NEC, and NEMA.
- Perform electrical wiring reviews and troubleshoot wiring issues on-site.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Associate Degree, Trade School certification, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI applications.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of pneumatics, VFDs, and process instrumentation.
- Ability to develop and troubleshoot control systems and SCADA platforms (iFIX, Wonderware).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, Access, and/or SQL Server.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Ability to travel overnight up to 60-80%.
- This position is classified as safety-sensitive and subject to random drug testing.
