Core Responsibilities:
- Control System Design and Development: Lead the design and development of custom control systems for a variety of applications, utilizing Wonderware/AVEVA or Ignition SCADA and HMIs.
- PLC Programming: Develop, implement, and maintain PLC programs using Allen Bradley platforms for efficient automation and control.
- Algorithm Development: Create advanced algorithms for process automation and optimization, ensuring systems run with peak efficiency.
- System Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational continuity.
- Project Lifecycle Support: Participate in the full project lifecycle, from design and implementation to commissioning and post-installation support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and field technicians, to deliver high-quality automation solutions on time and within budget.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or system integration, specifically working with the following systems:
- Wonderware System Platform
- Wonderware InTouch
- Ignition SCADA & HMI
- VTScada
- GE iFIX
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in PLC programming with a strong proficiency in Allen Bradley systems. Knowledge of control system integration and optimization.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in both hardware and software components of control systems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in SCADA systems (Wonderware, Ignition, or other relevant platforms).
- Experience in networking and cybersecurity for industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of advanced control systems (DCS, PLCs, SCADA).
