Title: Automation Engineer: Rochester, New York
We are currently seeking an experienced automation engineer to fill a permanent position with our client located in the city of Rochester, New York. Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring their expertise to help develop innovative solutions that will drive production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years' experience working as an Automation Engineer within Industrial Automation sector.
Skills Required:
- PLC Programming - The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of PLC programming techniques and be able to use several different platforms such as Allen Bradley Control Logix & RS Logix.
- HMI/SCADA Development - Experience developing HMI applications using Wonderware InTouch or Ignition software preferred but not required
Responsibilities include:
- Develop control systems based on customer requirements
- Provide technical support during system installation/start-up phases
- Work closely with project managers/engineers ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards throughout projects life cycle
