The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems for industrial processes.
Responsibilities
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Designing, developing and implementing automated systems for industrial processes
- Programming PLCs and HMI systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with automation systems
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Liaising with other departments to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Providing technical support to customers
Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- PLC Programming (RSLogix, ControlLogix)
- HMI Programming (SCADA, Ignition, Wonderware)
- Experience with conveyor systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
