Hiring: Associate Planner/ Associate Director, Sydney
Our client is a fast-growing consultancy in the urban and town planning market with a diverse and passionate team working on exciting and impactful projects. They have worked closely with both the public and private sector across Australia and built their expertise in the planning market over the past 15 years They are looking for an experienced candidate to join the Parammatta team as they expand their involvement in upcoming Western Sydney projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go-to contact for various projects to provide stakeholders with planning advice based on expertise in statutory, strategic and land use planning principles
- Managing a range of projects in various key areas with involvement in budgeting, and project schedules.
- Developing relationships with clients and key stakeholders to contribute to the overall business development.
- Leading and guiding a junior planning team through complex problems and situations.
The ideal candidate would have:
- 7+ years in the field of urban/ town planning or relevant industry experience.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage projects independently.
- Strong internal & external stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
