Associate Project Manager
Location: Greater Philadelphia (Hybrid)
Overview:
Join as an Associate Project Manager, overseeing and managing diverse projects across various industries. This role demands ensuring sound civil engineering principles, compliance with regulations, and project completion within budget and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resources.
- Lead civil engineering analysis to ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring task delegation.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct site inspections to uphold standards.
- Act as the primary client contact, managing communications and relationships effectively.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving conflicts and adapting to project changes swiftly.
- Oversee financial aspects, ensuring projects are within budget and contracts are properly managed.
- Engage in business development, expanding client relationships and participating in industry events.
Decision Making and Influence:
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to performance reviews.
- Develop relationships with clients and represent the company in the market.
Qualifications:
Requires a BS or higher in Civil Engineering or similar from an ABET accredited program, 7-10 years of relevant experience, a current PE license, and advanced project management skills.
Role Dimensions:
Manage direct reports including Project Engineers, and engage with clients requiring travel and site visits.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform site visits, handle various physical activities and manage visual and manual tasks.
