Assistant Project Manager - Data Center Projects
A leading construction and project management firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support data center projects from planning to completion. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical facilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing data center design and construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate project execution.
- Review and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement processes.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, contracts, and compliance with industry standards.
- Support quality control, risk management, and safety protocols.
- Participate in site visits and construction meetings to ensure project alignment with design intent.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in construction or project management (data center experience preferred).
- Understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and high-tech facilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, AutoCAD, Revit, and other project management tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
