We are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager with experience on large government and healthcare jobs to work for a rapidly-growing mechanical contractor in central Maryland. Our client has boomed over the last 5 years, becoming highly proficient with large government, healthcare, and laboratory jobs worth $100m or more, and is looking to expand their team to take on these projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Work under a Project Manager to manage large-scale mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and QA/QC staff to ensure project success.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and executive leadership.
- Travel to job sites as needed to oversee project progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in mechanical project management, particularly with a background in large-scale hospital and government projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
