Job Opportunity: Assistant Environmental Project Manager
A well-respected environmental consulting firm is seeking an Assistant Environmental Project Manager in Dallas, Texas. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in the environmental consulting field.
Role Overview
We need a motivated Assistant Environmental Project Manager to support various projects, including site investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial design for both traditional and emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS). Our team embraces creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
Manage environmental investigations and remediation projects.
Lead technical teams, develop plans, solve problems, and meet with clients.
Develop and coordinate investigation activities (soil, groundwater, indoor air, etc.).
Conduct and oversee site investigation activities.
Provide environmental compliance support, including data collection and analysis.
Supervise field activities and regulatory reporting.
Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, and subcontractors.
Ensure quality assurance and control of project deliverables.
Work with dynamic project teams and mentor junior staff.
Maintain strong client relationships through high-quality work and service.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Biology, or a related field.
EIT, GIT, P.E., or P.G. certification is a plus.
5-10 years of relevant experience in environmental assessment/remediation.
HAZWOPER training and certification.
Familiarity with RCRA and CERCLA processes is preferred.
Experience with federal projects and/or DoD/Navy projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel for projects.
