Job Title: Asbestos Inspector
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Asbestos Inspector to join our client's team in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in asbestos inspection and possess a current CSST (Certified Site Surveillance Technician) certification. This position is responsible for conducting thorough asbestos inspections, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and providing accurate reporting of findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform asbestos inspections in residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify and assess asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
- Collect samples and conduct field tests to determine the presence of asbestos.
- Ensure all inspections comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
- Provide clear and detailed reports on inspection findings, including identification, location, and condition of ACMs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings and recommend appropriate actions for asbestos management or abatement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection records, samples, and test results.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed to support asbestos-related projects.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and best practices for asbestos inspection and safety.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an asbestos inspector or in a similar environmental health and safety role.
- Certification: Current CSST certification required.
- Knowledge of asbestos regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and state-specific guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess and document asbestos-related hazards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand format.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with inspection documentation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
