A growing A/E firm based in the Mid-Atlantic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Data Center Architecture team! The ideal candidate would bring a balance of Architectural design and production ability along with business development, client leadership skills. Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural and engineering plans for large data center projects, including design, permits, and construction documents.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality.
- Lead execution teams, coordinate activities across disciplines, and oversee project execution.
- Identify key client interests for moderately complex projects.
- Support business development activities.
- Lead large, multi-discipline teams to meet project goals.
- Provide technical leadership for complex data center projects.Ensure solutions align with project goals.
- Guide on design standards, codes, and company policies.
- Review architectural and engineering work.
- Mentor and manage the performance of assigned personnel.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in data center design
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD; preferred working knowledge in Bluebeam, Sketchup, and Rhino
- Active Architectural Registration in state of residence; NCARB also preferred
- Strong written and verbal communicaton
- Strong understanding of design principles, building codes, construction methods, and construction methods
- LEED Certification, or knowledge in Building Sustainability preferred
