Position: Architectural Designer - Experienced Level
Location: Durango, Alamosa, or Pagosa Springs, Colorado

As the largest architecture and engineering firm in the Four Corners region, we combine a multidisciplinary team of architects and engineers to deliver seamless project management from conception to completion. Our projects span residential, civic, and commercial sectors across Southwest Colorado and beyond.
We are hiring experienced architectural professionals to join our team at any of our three office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design:
- Lead and manage the technical design aspects of major projects, ensuring creative and functional solutions.
- Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design strategies that best meet client goals and project requirements.
- Develop comprehensive architectural plans, elevations, and 3D renderings, incorporating sustainable practices and natural materials.
- Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs to complex projects.
- Introduce and implement innovative design solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Project Management:
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with consultants, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance requirements.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by actively listening and delivering tailored design solutions.
- Present design concepts and updates, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
Technical and Compliance Expertise:
- Provide architectural consultation on the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and apply novel techniques and procedures to solve complex design challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced architectural staff.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's).
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience, with demonstrated expertise in high-end residential and commercial architecture.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to handle complex or novel assignments.
- Licensure not required, but preferred.

Schedule:
- Full-time; Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
