What will you do?
The Access Controls Service Account Representative is an outside service sales role responsible for developing and selling access control, video management, and networking solutions to end users. This role is essential in driving innovation and creating solutions to meet customers' operational and security goals through continuous improvement and system upgrades.
This position involves developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers to identify service needs, including Service Agreements, technology refresh and modernization, network infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, tenant improvements, site expansions, and other related services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic security (card access, video surveillance, and intrusion), network infrastructure, and familiarity with the construction market and competitive landscape in the local area. Strong presentation and networking skills are a must. Knowledge of SMART buildings, integrated building technologies, and the Internet of Things (IoT), along with an understanding of purchasing processes and key decision-makers in the end-user market, are a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by developing and implementing consultative sales strategies tailored to individual accounts.
Conduct site visits with customers and develop security improvement plans based on their needs.
Analyze customer needs and develop maintenance and modernization proposals.
Prepare sales quotations and proposals, collaborating with internal teams to determine installation labor and material requirements.
Utilize Account Management Plans to expand service offerings for existing customers.
Review feasibility assessments and bid/contract documents.
Perform take-offs and estimate costs for prospective service sales opportunities.
Attend meetings throughout the project lifecycle, including hand-off and design review sessions.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure services are executed as proposed, working closely with team members to complete projects to customer satisfaction.

This position reports to the Service Sales Manager in Andover, MA.
What qualifications will make you successful in this role?
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2+ years in a service sales position supporting high-volume clients
5+ years of experience with access control, video management, and networking solutions in the commercial industry
Strong understanding of the construction project process from development and design through sales and execution
A strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset to deliver exceptional results
