Water / Wastewater Chief Revenue Officer

We are looking for an experienced Chief Revenue Officer to become a key member of the executive management team and to drive the next phase of revenue growth. The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for leading the overall sales function and for aligning sales objectives with the overall company strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a team of technical sales professionals across North America.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and expand current sales networks. Develop, track and report client experience plan and key account strategies.
  • Develop and implement overall sales strategy, as well as industry and region-specific tactical plans. Implement tracking program and provide professional reporting package monthly.
  • Develop and implement specific commercial strategies and business plans to drive revenue growth for various markets.
  • Contribute to negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Develop, manage and report Channel Partner Management program.
  • Design, implement and manage sales systems / procedures and compensation structures.
  • Develop and manage a sales training program.
  • Leverage CRM and other resources to develop, manage and report sales team KPIs.
  • Work as part of the executive management team to develop long and short-term company strategy and business plans.
  • Work collaboratively with our technical and engineering teams on new product development, piloting and R&D projects.
  • Travel across North America, as required, to visit project sites, client or vendor facilities, tradeshows, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years technical experience in the water and wastewater industry in North America.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales management with proven results
  • Solid technical understanding of all major water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Knowledge of the various industry participants including business drivers and organizational models.
  • Strong existing client relationships and experience in building a sales network across North America.
  • Experience in negotiating commercial contracts
  • Proven success in developing and managing high performing teams.
  • Hands on, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced business environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite and leading CRM software packages.
