Salary: $90,000-$100,000
Company Summary: Looking for an immediate hire to work with a leading Structural Engineering company based in Orem, Utah. Candidate has a strong professional background, results-driven mindset, and eagerness to contribute to an energetic and talented team.
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for:
- Draft and design structural plans for residential and commercial projects, prepare detailed construction documents, and lead design tasks across various sectors, collaborating closely with the Project Manager (PM).
- Perform preliminary wind load analyses, research alternative structural materials, review building codes, and contribute to advanced structural design opportunities as assigned.
- Assist with construction administration by conducting site inspections, addressing RFIs, and generating structural revisions, while maintaining direct communication with clients and contractors.
- Monitor project progress using project management software, maintain detailed logs, and provide regular updates to the PM and clients.
The Structural Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience in structural engineering or related field
- EIT or PE licensed
- Engineering Bachelor's degree required
- Technical skills: experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Deltek and Enercalc
