Senior Project Manager- Transmission

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex electric transmission projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the Transmission market within the Power and Energy sector.
- Formulate and execute strategic plans.
- Lead, develop, and expand the team while maintaining a positive company culture.
- Build and sustain relationships with key clients, subcontractors, and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental programs.
- Manage the financial performance of the project portfolio.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to identify and pursue new opportunities, maintaining a robust project backlog.
- Support project teams with contract negotiations and change management.
- Utilize advanced CPM scheduling to address and resolve scheduling challenges, and manage overall project timelines and resource planning.
- Identify productivity issues and assist teams in developing recovery plans.
- Recognize opportunities for equipment investments based on project needs.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in transmission projects preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, including technology, equipment, methods, supervision, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and safety.
- Strong communication, engagement, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Highly analytical with strong business acumen.
