Position Title: Sales/Application Engineer - Water Treatment & Semiconductor Sectors (Taiwan)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales/Application Engineer to support business growth and market development in Taiwan, particularly in the water treatment and semiconductor sectors. This position will focus exclusively on industrial end-users within the semiconductor value chain. As a knowledgeable partner, you'll identify opportunities to enhance customer systems in areas such as pumps, water treatment, and control/automation solutions, ultimately helping them achieve their sustainability goals in water and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Sales Growth: Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities across Taiwan, with an emphasis on water treatment and semiconductor industries.
Customer Relationship Building: Develop new relationships and nurture existing ones, fostering long-term engagement with key customers.
Site Assessments & Solution Design: Visit customer sites to better understand their needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions related to pumps, water treatment, and automation systems.
Proposal & Commercial Support: Assist with preparing proposals, quotations, tenders, and responding to customer inquiries. Work closely with teams to ensure smooth communication and effective solutions.
Collaboration with Manufacturing: Coordinate with factories to clarify technical details, prepare cost sheets, and maintain clear communication for efficient project execution.
Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and client meetings, promoting our innovative water treatment and automation technologies.
Sales Monitoring & Profitability: Track sales progress, monitor orders, and ensure the achievement of profitability and margin goals.
Adherence to Procedures: Ensure compliance with corporate sales processes, policies, and systems, maintaining high professional standards.
Training & Education: Provide training sessions and presentations to internal teams, distributors, consultants, and clients on product features and industry applications.
Other Duties: Perform other relevant tasks as needed to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
A technical degree (e.g., Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical) is preferred.
5-10 years of experience in the water treatment or wastewater industry, with a strong background in industrial end-user sectors (such as semiconductor manufacturing).
Familiarity with pumps, electric motors, hydraulic systems, water treatment technologies, and control/automation solutions is a plus.
Experience in utilities, industrial sectors, and commercial buildings, especially within Taiwan, is highly preferred.
