Energy Solutions Field Specialist (Delta Technician)
As the Energy Systems Field Specialist you will be responsible for fulfilling contractual obligations outlined in service agreements, which encompass tasks such as conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues onsite, and replacing hardware components. Diligently document all findings, resolutions, and completed work while providing actionable recommendations to enhance site performance and optimize operations.
Qualifications:
- Entry level Position, Ideal candidate possessing 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
- AA Degree in Applied Technology or Equivalence in combination between work experience and education
- HVAC and/or mechanical systems knowledge
- Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
- Computer programming experience
- Mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting experience.
- MUST BE PROFICIENT IN USING DELTA CONTROL SYSTEMS
Responsibilities:
Perform onsite preventive maintenance routines, follow detailed checklists, document findings, and provide reports to the Service Account Manager.
Implement corrective actions during scheduled Action Implementation Days, track issue resolution in observation logs and daily reports.
Address concerns during Operator Directed Days, resolve issues identified by the Service Account Manager or site contact, and record resolutions in logs and reports.
Conduct basic software upgrades on Building Management System (BMS) servers.
Perform basic firmware updates for field and global-level devices.
Replace field components such as controllers, sensors, and third-party devices following manufacturer guidelines.
Execute onsite calibration and calibration verification to ensure accuracy.
Troubleshoot Direct Digital Control (DDC) and HVAC systems using system knowledge, site conditions, reference drawings, and sequences of operation.
Diagnose and resolve building network issues to improve network health scores and restore site communication.
Identify root cause deficiencies at occupied sites, resolve issues to maintain building operations, and deliver added value to contract owners.
