Controls Engineer / Programmer
We are seeking a Control Engineer based in Southern California specialising in the design and implementation of industrial control systems.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components.
- Program and configure industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI).
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems.
- Develop and implement software solutions using Java, Python, and other programming languages.
- Utilise MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server for database management.
- Assist in UI and web development as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant industry experience (water/waste-water, mining, oil and gas)
- B.S in related field of engineering.
- Proficiency's in Allen Bradley PLC's, Modicon.
- Proficient using Ignition
Preferred:
- Panel Design XP.
- P.E
- E.I.T
