Senior Project Architect
A global Architecture & Engineering firm with an outstanding reputation in many project markets is searching for a Senior Project Architect to work collaboratively with regional leadership on high quality project development and delivery. This firm is invested in Federal, Industrial, and Transportation projects and have goals to expand into new markets when the opportunity presents. The ideal person for this role will bring a strong design sense, experience producing documents for complex projects, and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities
Team Collaboration: Guide junior staff in planning and designing buildings, and preparing design presentations and construction documents.
Client Interaction: Develop design criteria with clients, lead presentations, and create presentation materials.
Document Coordination: Oversee the creation and coordination of design and construction documents with architectural and engineering teams.
Technical Specifications: Prepare and edit technical specifications.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with planning, zoning, and building codes, coordinating with relevant agencies.
Budget and Schedule Support: Assist in developing project budgets and schedules.
Sales Support: Oversee the creation of proposal renderings and documents for client proposals.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience within the Architecture & Design space
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
- Project experience ideally in one or more of the following markets: Federal, Transit/Transportation, Industrial, Office, Environment, Water/Wastewater, and/or Commercial
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; preference for experience using Bluebeam, Sketchup, and others
- Architectural Registration required; NCARB certificate for reciprocity preferred
- Preferred experience signing and sealing project documents
- Excellent communication skills
