Project Architect
A prestigious and forward-thinking Architecture & Engineering firm is seeking a talented and detail-driven Project Architect to take charge of architectural projects from initial concept through final delivery. This key leadership role demands strong technical acumen, creative vision, and a deep understanding of sustainable design. You'll serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and construction teams-ensuring the successful execution of high-quality, on-time, and on-budget projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage architectural projects across all phases-from design development through construction administration
Translate client needs into innovative and functional design solutions
Produce and oversee the development of design concepts, construction documents, and technical specifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, consultants, and contractors
Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and quality standards through detailed review and approval of drawings and plans
Mentor junior architects and contribute to team growth and development
Conduct on-site visits to monitor construction progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain design integrity
Stay current on industry innovations, materials, sustainability trends, and regulatory updates
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Licensed Architect (required)
At least 6 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp (additional tools a plus)
Deep understanding of construction methods, building systems, codes, and zoning laws
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification is highly desirable
