We're partnering with a leading national architecture and design practice to find a Senior Interior Designer or Senior Project Lead (Interiors) to join their growing Brisbane team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key position within a multidisciplinary design environment that champions collaboration, creativity, and longevity in design.
You'll be joining a team that works across a broad range of sectors, including workplace, education, commercial, civic, and mixed-use developments. The studio has a strong pipeline of work locally and is now seeking a senior-level interiors professional who can bring design strength, project delivery experience, and leadership capability.
🔧 About the Role
This position can flex depending on your strengths - whether you're more delivery-focused or a strong conceptual designer ready to step up into a project leadership role.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Leading or supporting interior design projects from concept through to completion
- Collaborating with architects, consultants, and clients on design strategy and execution
- Producing and reviewing documentation (Revit environment)
- Overseeing project timelines and deliverables, with an eye for quality and design integrity
- Mentoring juniors and contributing to team culture
🧠 What You'll Bring
- 5-10+ years' experience in interior design or interior architecture
- Proven experience in workplace, education, commercial or civic projects
- Strong Revit proficiency (essential)
- Experience in project delivery, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
- Creative thinking, technical rigour, and confident communication skills
- Experience managing consultants or small teams is highly valued for the Project Lead pathway
