Mid-to Senior-Level Geotechnical Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a mid- to senior-level geotechnical engineer to join our established geosciences team in Northern California. This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $140,000 per year and is based in Eureka, California, with consideration for locations in Redding, Willits, and Fort Bragg.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior staff and mentor junior staff.
- Engage in projects from concept through construction.
- Work with laboratory testing and special inspection staff to support projects during the construction phase.
Qualifications
Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering from an accredited institution.
- California Registered Geotechnical Engineer (GE) License, with the ability/interest in obtaining an Oregon GE license within one year.
- At least 5 years of GE experience.
- Working knowledge of geologic and geotechnical conditions and engineering requirements in Northern California.
- Familiarity with geotechnical software and tools for analysis and design.
- Experience working with a materials testing laboratory.
Senior-Level Geotechnical Engineer
- At least 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with 5 years post-GE license.
- Expertise in foundation design (shallow and deep), slope stability evaluation, retaining wall design, seismic hazards (liquefaction, settlement, slope failure, etc.), and ground improvement techniques.
- At least 5 years of project management experience.
- The qualifications listed for the mid-level GE position.
