Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Japanese and possess a strong understanding of Japan's labor laws and office management.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Recruitment: Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Japan's labor laws and company policies.
- Office Management: Oversee office operations, including facilities management, supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Training and Development: Organize and facilitate employee training programs and development initiatives.
- Performance Management: Assist in the implementation and management of performance appraisal systems.
- Reporting: Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Japanese (both written and spoken).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in an administrative role.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Japan's labor laws and regulations.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
