About the Opportunity:
A growing, respected engineering consultancy with a strong presence in Brisbane is expanding their team. With a focus on transport infrastructure, this firm is known for its commitment to quality, technical excellence, and a genuine, down-to-earth approach to project delivery.
As the team continues to grow, they are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Civil Designer or Drafter to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality infrastructure outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a wide range of transport infrastructure projects across both public and private sectors
- Producing 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and 12d Model
- Preparing detailed design documentation and drawings
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in transport infrastructure design
- An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or higher
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and 12d Model
- Experience with Transport and Main Roads (TMR) design and drafting standards (advantageous)
- Solid knowledge of design standards and civil infrastructure elements such as roads, intersections, earthworks, and drainage
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
