Company Overview
A leading provider of innovative water and wastewater solutions is seeking an Application Sales Engineer (Taiwan) to drive business development and market expansion in Taiwan, with a focus on the water treatment and semiconductor industries. This role targets industrial end-user customers, particularly within the semiconductor value chain. You will identify opportunities to optimize customers' systems and support their sustainability goals in water and energy conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Actively develop new customer relationships and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and propose technical solutions.
  • Provide technical and commercial support, including proposal preparation, quotations, tender submissions, and handling inquiries.
  • Collaborate with factories for technical clarifications and cost sheet preparation to ensure smooth communication across teams.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, events, and customer meetings to promote water technologies.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, orders, and profit margins.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate sales policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Deliver technical training and presentations for internal teams, distributors, consultants, and end-users.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by managers.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry; experience in the industrial end-user sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pumps, electric motors, hydraulic principles, or water treatment is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of technical processes and industrial challenges.
  • Results-oriented with commercial experience in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and team collaboration skills.
