Reports To: Director of Production / Event Services Manager

Job Description:
The Audio Visual Live Events Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all AV elements for live events. This role involves managing technical teams, equipment logistics, and client communications to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality productions. The Production Manager collaborates with event planners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet event objectives within budget and timeline constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise the setup, operation, and breakdown of audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment for live events.

  • Manage AV production teams, including technicians and external vendors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

  • Coordinate pre-event site inspections and technical rehearsals.

  • Develop and maintain production schedules, equipment lists, and labor plans.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding technical production needs.

  • Troubleshoot on-site issues and implement solutions in real-time.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AV production management for live events.

  • Strong technical knowledge of AV systems and equipment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
