Land Development Project Manager
My client are seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee public projects, including land development and drainage systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with public works or TCEQ experience who is looking to be involved in a range of project oversight and regulatory compliance duties. This is a unique position as the role involves no design, so difficult to a typical engineering position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects for (MUD), including attending board meetings and contract administration.
- Review construction plans and conduct site visits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with facility operators on maintenance and operational issues.
- Provide technical guidance related to land development and drainage infrastructure operation and maintenance.
- Write engineering reports and review utility service agreements.
- Offer developers guidance on bidding and construction requirements (Note: No design work).
Qualifications:
- Experience in municipal public works or with TCEQ projects is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of land development and drainage
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- PE license
Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience, and the position is bonus eligible.
