Position: Senior Structural Engineer

Position Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Design and Analysis: Perform structural engineering design and analysis for new and existing buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to implement innovative solutions.

Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RISA).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
