Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects, focusing on transportation, land development, public works, and stormwater systems.
  • Design and develop infrastructure solutions, including roadways, stormwater management systems, and utilities.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and staff, guiding them through project tasks and professional development.
  • Work closely with municipal clients, including cities and local government agencies, to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review plans, specifications, and reports for various civil engineering projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery within budget and schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah or ability to obtain.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering with a background in transportation, land development, public works, or stormwater engineering.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams on complex engineering projects.
  • Strong experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and client relations.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong knowledge of local codes, regulations, and standards for municipal and transportation projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
