Water Services - Project Manager
Currently seeking a skilled Project Manager I - Water Services to support one of our key clients in the engineering and infrastructure industry. This role involves managing the design, development, and execution of water-related infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with client teams and project stakeholders.

The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle-from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout-ensuring quality, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction at every step.
Key Responsibilities
Project Development & Design
Define project goals, schedules, budgets, and performance objectives.
Develop detailed scopes of work and work breakdown structures.
Lead internal and client reviews to align on scope, risk mitigation, and resource needs.
Ensure compliance with internal project management standards and industry best practices.
Budgeting & Financial Management
Monitor and manage overall project financial performance.
Prepare and review client billings in coordination with accounting teams.
Track project costs, identify financial risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure timely payment collection and resolve outstanding billing issues.
Approve subcontractor/vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
Execution & Quality Oversight
Conduct ongoing assessments of project progress and potential risks.
Implement change management protocols to address evolving needs.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and safety requirements.
Respond to audit findings and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
Lead and support technical teams in applying sound engineering practices.
Team & Resource Leadership
Develop resource plans and coordinate internal and external staffing needs.
Assign tasks, set timelines, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to project staff.
Escalate performance issues to management when necessary.
Client Engagement & Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and the client.
Build strong relationships by ensuring responsive, high-quality service delivery.
Maintain open communication and alignment on expectations, priorities, and outcomes.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify future opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience.
PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
Availability to travel based on project demands.
