Survey Party Chief
Join a leading regional survey consultant seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to support transportation projects in Denver, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented survey professional to lead field operations on key infrastructure projects, including CDOT roadway and bridge work. Experience with Civil 3D and working on CDOT projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead field survey crews on transportation projects, including roadway, bridge, and infrastructure work.
- Perform boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
- Collect and analyze field data using GPS, total stations, and other survey equipment.
- Oversee field note reductions, traverse adjustments, and data processing.
- Ensure compliance with CDOT standards and project requirements.
- Work closely with project managers and design teams to provide accurate survey data.
- Train and mentor junior survey staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on transportation projects.
- Strong understanding of CDOT standards and requirements.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D (preferred) and other survey-related software.
- Experience with GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
