Job Title: Site Operations Manager - Data Centers
The client is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of their data centers in Thailand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT infrastructures, servers, and networks, ensuring optimal performance, security, and efficiency.
Job Description:
1. Oversee critical Data Center IT and Security operations in Bangkok, including data center build-outs and scaling.
2. Develop, document, and manage policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and meet required SLAs.
3. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure resource supply and delivery aligns with business growth.
4. Manage outsourcing and vendor relationships for colocation data center service providers to meet or exceed contracted performance SLAs.
5. Maintain knowledge of 24x7 onsite support procedures and continuously improve operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.
Position Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or computer science.
2. Over 5 years of experience in large global data center site operations.
3. Functional knowledge of data center mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
4. Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure domains, including server platforms, storage platforms, server components, network devices, technologies, architectures, and IT service delivery principles and best practices.
5. Highly motivated, self-managed individual with strong problem analysis and critical thinking skills.
6. Knowledge of data center construction procedures and capacity planning.
7. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
8. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
9. Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
