Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Data Center & Mission Critical Projects
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale data center and mission critical facility projects. This role requires deep technical knowledge of complex MEP systems, high-stakes infrastructure, and experience in driving projects from concept through commissioning. As a senior leader, you will also play a critical role in business development, client relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives in the mission critical space.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead the end-to-end execution of complex data center and mission critical facility projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and under budget.
Oversee project lifecycle phases including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
Manage multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
Identify and resolve project risks, conflicts, and critical issues with a solution-driven mindset.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as primary point of contact for key clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure client expectations are clearly understood, managed, and exceeded.
Cultivate long-term client relationships and develop repeat business opportunities.
Business Development & Strategy
Identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities in the mission critical and data center market.
Support the proposal and RFP process by preparing technical narratives, schedules, and pricing input.
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategic growth initiatives within the mission critical business unit.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure or facility projects, with at least 5 years in mission critical or data center environments.
Proven track record of delivering high-value projects in live operational environments with zero downtime.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, data center infrastructure (UPS, HVAC, CRAC, fire suppression, etc.), and commissioning.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain high-level client relationships.
Licensure required
