Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EPC Manager to join our Project Execution Department, specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Candidates with solar energy experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise, and business fluency in Japanese.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within the BESS sector
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project progress effectively.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in EPC project management within the BESS or solar energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Business fluent in Japanese (required).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
