Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong background in underground construction, tunnel design, and geostructural practices. This role involves leading complex projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful completion of geotechnical investigations and designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations, including site assessments, soil sampling, and laboratory testing.
- Develop and review geotechnical designs for tunnels, foundations, retaining structures, and other underground constructions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on underground construction and tunnel design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
