Regional Civil Lead- Land Development
The Regional Civil Engineering lead we are seeking will be based in Billings, MT. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer ready to embrace an exciting new challenge. They will be a self-starter, brimming with confidence in their ability to build and lead a dynamic local civil engineering team as a seller-doer. The candidate will be highly skilled in civil engineering, have an established network within the region, and be adept at business development. Our goal is to grow our civil engineering work in the Billings, MT area, and this individual will be a key player in this growth and working with the firm's current engineering leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Build and lead a local civil engineering team, providing mentorship and professional development.
- Project Management: Prepare fee proposals, engineering reports, cost estimates, and schedules. Negotiate, prepare, and execute contracts.
- Quality Control: Oversee the preparation of project calculations, plans, reports, and specifications.
- Business Development: Identify and develop market and new business opportunities, and lead project interviews.
- Client Relations: Develop and retain client relationships as well as internal team and leadership relationships.
Qualifications:
- Education: ABET accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 10+ years of job-related experience.
- Licensing: Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of hiring, current NCEES license.
- Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and business development skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ArchGIS, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary:
- Range: $90,000 to $140,000, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

- The position may require occasional site visits for verifications and field surveys.
